Look closely and you'll see hand-rooted black hair and eyes closed in a deep sleep, hand-applied blushing across the cheeks and knees, and the tiny creases that make each doll individual. Pickle is sculpted as an African American baby with true newborn proportions. Among the details: a gentle heartbeat you can feel through the chest and a soft rise and fall in the chest, like quiet breathing.
