About this baby
A 20" reborn baby doll finished entirely by hand, Isel is built in soft vinyl on a soft, weighted cloth body — there is real substance to her when you lift her.
Look closely and you'll see hand-painted hair and clear open eyes with hand-applied lashes, hand-applied blushing across the cheeks and knees, and the tiny creases that make each doll individual. She is sculpted with the fuller proportions of a toddler. Switch her on and you get a gentle heartbeat you can feel through the chest and a soft rise and fall in the chest, like quiet breathing.
Reborn babies like this are collected by adults, dressed by families and given as keepsakes to mark something that matters. Keep her away from direct sunlight, newsprint and dark dyes, and spot-clean the cloth body rather than putting her through a wash.
